Take up a challenge this spring time, and clock up 86.9km (from London to Brighton) to fundraise for The Clock Tower Sanctuary.

Right now, we all need a reason to get out in the fresh air. Clock it Up for The Clock Tower Sanctuary, and you'll be taking part in a challenge that gives you the chance to do something amazing. Run, swim, cycle, walk, skip, or jump the equivalent of the 86.9km from London to Brighton in a month, and raise vital funds for young homeless people.

The Clock Tower Sanctuary

The Clock Tower Sanctuary is Brighton's only day centre for 16-25 year olds experiencing homelessness. We rely totally on donations and the efforts of our awesome supporters to keep our doors open.

The CTS provides vital practical and emotional support to help vulnerable young people move from crisis to independence. We receive 4,000 visits from young people who have nowhere else to turn every year. They offer washing and laundry facilities, hot meals, confidence-building activities and help with accessing health services, benefits, accommodation, training and work.

Listen to Dandi's story to hear the impact The Clock Tower Sanctuary can have, which isn't possible withough your support.

Signing up

To sign up, just click on the yello  'Register' button on this page, and you'll be guided through the process to register for the event and set up your fundraising page. The target is to travel 86.9km and raise £100, but if you want to raise more you can change your target when you set your page up.

Logging your activities

The simplest way to track your progress is to sync with your Strava account, which you'll have the option to do when you sign up. Once you've completed this step, you need to record your walks and runs throughout February, and they will automatically be added to your personal fundraising page.

If you aren't a Strava user, or you forget to log an activity, you can simply click the 'Add an activity' button below your distance target on your page, and enter the details manually.

Share your page

Once you've registered, you'll be sent an email with the link to your own personal fundraising page. You can send that link out to friends and family, and there is also a tool on your page that will let you share your page or activities directly to social media.

Join or create a team

You can join up with friends or colleagues to see how much you can raise together, or compete against other teams to see who can raise the most! When you register, you'll have the option to create a team, or find one that's already up and running, and you can join it. You can also do this later if you prefer. Once you've set up a team, you'll be given the opportunity to send an invite out to invite others to join you. You will all still individually have the same target - £100 to fundraise each, and 86.9km to walk, run, cycle, swim (or hop, or skip!) throughout the month, but as a team you'll be able to see how much you've raised collectively.
